About Carlos Miranda
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Carlos grew up playing with and competing against the best players from New York City. He played point guard and shooting guard at Transit Tech High School and for nationally recognized AAU Basketball programs Riverside Church Hawks, Brooklyn U.S.A and Miccio-Excel. Several of Carlos’ teammates and opponents went on to play in the NBA. After high school, Carlos played for Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.
Carlos has always had a passion for the game of basketball, and he has a strong desire to pass that on to young players through teaching and serving as a positive role model.
Off the court, Carlos is an employee of the United States Postal Service and is active in philanthropic efforts in Honduras, Central America.
